MOSAE Privacy Statement

Last updated 1 October 2026

One thing can be left here: an email address. Registering with it means you agree that MOSAE may contact you by email. This page says what that means.

Who we are

MOSAE, a fragrance house in Maastricht, the Netherlands, is responsible for the information described on this page. For any question about your information, or to see, correct or delete it, write to info@officinamosae.com. You will have an answer within thirty days.

What you agree to

By registering with your email address, you agree to this privacy statement and that MOSAE may contact you by email: about Collection I and its release, testers, invitations, news, and anything else MOSAE has to tell you. This is the basis on which we hold your address: your consent.

You can withdraw it whenever you like, as easily as you gave it: every email carries a link to leave the list, and one line to us does the same.

What we keep

Your email address, when you registered, and the little the list needs to keep machines off it. Nothing else is asked. We do not sell or pass on the list, and we use it for nothing but what is described here.

The list is stored with Supabase (database in Frankfurt) and the emails are sent through Resend. Both work on our instructions, and the site is hosted by Vercel, which, like any web server, logs the requests it serves.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a machine-readable form. Write to info@officinamosae.com. If you disagree with how we handle it, you can complain to the supervisory authority where you live; in the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Cookies and what your browser keeps

This site sets no advertising cookies and follows nobody from one site to the next.

A few things are kept in your own browser, and only there: whether the sound is on and how loud, so the house does not begin talking again on every visit; your answer to the question below about measuring; whether you have put away the line about the testers at the top of the home page, and whether you have already left your address, so the page stops asking; and, for the length of a visit, the campaign tags of the link you arrived by, so that an address left a few minutes later is still counted as the post’s. None of it is ever sent to us, except those tags with an address you choose to leave. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Measuring the visit

We would like to know how this page is used (which parts are read, where people stop, what does not work), so that we can build the rest of it on something other than a guess. That is the only reason.

Nothing measures you until you have said it may. When the page opens, no measuring script is loaded, no request goes out and no identifier is set. If you say yes, two services begin:

Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) counts visits and pages, and a handful of moments on them: whether the story is played and for how long, how far down the page a visit reaches, which fragrance is pressed, whether an address was sent (never the address itself). Your network address is shortened before it is stored. Nothing is stored for advertising: advertising storage, advertising identifiers and personalisation are all switched off, and we do not share anything with Google for advertising purposes.

Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited) records how a page is used (where a pointer moves, what is pressed, how far a page is scrolled) and can replay that as an anonymous session. Text you type, including your email address, is masked before it leaves your browser.

Google Analytics keeps two cookies in your browser to tell one visit from the next; Clarity is set to work without cookies here and leaves nothing behind. Both are processors bound to our instructions, both may process outside the European Economic Area under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, and neither is allowed to sell what they see or use it for their own advertising.

You may change your mind at any moment, and it takes effect at once: what they left behind in your browser is cleared on the way out.
